Agustin Barrios short biography

Born in Paraguay, Agustin Barrios was one of the greatest Latin American virtuoso guitarist and one of the most creative performers.  Barrios, a super romantic composer, is closely identified with the Indian culture of Paraguay. Barrios adopted an Indian name Mangore and often appeared in Indian costume in concerts. Barrios's compositions are under influence of J.S. Bach’s, whom he admired as well as Chopin and Latin American folk music.
